Biography:

I grew up in the Belvidere/Rockford area. I received my BSN from Northern Illinois University in 2009 and began my nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Anesthesia was always a professional aspiration of mine so after two years I went to work in the adult ICU at Swedish American Hospital to expand my clinical expertise. I continued to work there for six years while pursuing my DNP in Anesthesia at Rush University in Chicago in 2017. I try to spend as much time as I can outdoors, relaxing with family and friends, and traveling.
