Dr. Khan grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and pursued his education locally at Loyola University. During his Anesthesiology training, he developed an interest in Regional Anesthesiology and Ultrasound Guided Peripheral Nerve Blocks. At the completion of his residency training, he pursued subspecialty training in Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Khan has developed Early Recovery protocols for surgical patients undergoing Breast, Bowel and Joint procedures. He has also served as an expert consultant for the development of an orthopedic institute. Dr. Khan participates in ABA Oral Board Examination preparation and continues to publish scholarly articles in peer reviewed publications. Outside of work, Dr. Khan enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
